AgileCheck AML vs COX
COX and AgileCheck AML are two compliance products from the same team: COX for professionals and small firms that need due diligence, list screening and risk assessment paid per use; AgileCheck AML for organizations that also need transaction monitoring, alert management and API integrations. This page tells you which one fits your business.
AgileCheck AML is our flagship product for medium and large organizations that run full compliance operations: transaction monitoring, alert and case management, API integrations and a fully configurable risk model.
COX is the streamlined platform for solo professionals and small firms that must comply with the same rules without a compliance department: due diligence, list screening, risk assessment and audit-ready evidence, paid per use.
Who each product is for
The difference is not the regulation, which is the same for both, but how much of the day-to-day the platform has to carry for you.
COX fits you if
- You are a lawyer, accountant, real estate agent, notary or another regulated professional, and compliance is one of your tasks, not your job.
- Your firm has a handful of people and onboards clients every week, not every hour: what matters is that each file is complete and defensible.
- You operate in Panama, Venezuela, Mexico, Colombia, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic or Ecuador and want to be running this week, without a project.
AgileCheck AML fits you if
- You process transactions continuously and the regulator expects you to detect unusual patterns, not only to know your customer at onboarding.
- You have a compliance team that works alerts and cases every day and needs to prove who reviewed what, and when.
- Your core system, CRM or onboarding channel must talk to the compliance platform through an API instead of people re-typing data.

Transaction monitoring
COX documents the customer: identity, beneficial owners, risk level and the searches that support the decision. AgileCheck AML also watches what the customer does after that, scoring each transaction against scenarios such as structuring, unusual volume or activity out of profile, in real time.
Alerts and case management
In COX a list hit is resolved inside the customer file by the person reviewing it. In AgileCheck AML every hit and every monitoring scenario opens an alert with an owner, a deadline and a case history, which is what a team of analysts and a regulator expect to see.
API integrations
COX is a self-contained platform: your team works in it and exports what it needs. AgileCheck AML exposes its functions through an API so that screening, onboarding and monitoring run from the systems your business already uses.
How you pay and what it takes to start
COX: credits, pay as you use
You buy credits and each search, verification or report consumes some. There is no minimum monthly fee: a firm that onboards three clients a month pays for three. You register online, load your catalogs and risk matrix from the templates provided, and start the same day.

Licensing is agreed per organization, according to volume and modules. Implementation is guided: our team configures the risk model and monitoring scenarios with you, connects the integrations and trains the analysts before go-live. Ask for a proposal and we will scope it together.

Many customers start with COX and grow out of it. These are the signals that it is time to talk about the move:
- The regulator, or your own policy, now requires monitoring of transactions and not only due diligence at onboarding.
- More than one person reviews hits, and you need to assign, escalate and close them with a trace.
- Your volume makes re-typing data unacceptable and you need the compliance platform connected to your systems.
- You open branches or a second country and want the same risk model applied everywhere, with central oversight.
Because both products are ours, the transition is planned with you: the due diligence you already documented in COX keeps its value as evidence, and nothing is lost when the team moves.
